How to get rid of odor in house due to cooking?

I cook at home everyday and it leaves smells of the spices that are used for cooking.
Eventually the smell accumulates and turns into an odor. I have tried several methods to get
rid of it and it has never worked.

It is fine in summer because I leave the door open while cooking but in winter its terrible because I cannot
leave the door open due to freezing temperature outside.

Help please.

There are couple of things you can do to leave your house odor free after cooking.
Especially if you are frying onions or garlic or spices, it can really move over your house.
Lets look at the solutions:

First leave the exhaust fan open.
Light a candle or incense stick.
Incense stick brings effect more faster than the other methods.
Try to open the door and let the fresh air in.

I would open a door when cooking.
You can also spray air freshner at
night when all the work in the kitchen
is finished. Have you tried putting a fan
in there when cooking. Open some of
the windows,in other rooms too.

All those spices, must be some good
cooking going on!!
