How do you keep active in the summer?

With the summer approaching us many of us like
to get outside and do more so how do you like
to keep fit in the summer? What sports do you
play? Or do you like to go out for a nice
walk or jog? Or maybe you even go to the gym?
Tell me what type of things do you like to get out
and do when you can.

The cold winter months are behind
us. Let's get out there and play!!
I love the game of tennis. It can
be a challenge,especially when the
weather is a little steamy.I love it
no matter what. If you have not tried
it,do so this summer. The best fun for
the entire family.

Agreeded, Tennis is a great way to keep active in the
summer. However I am not great at sports. I have
decided to get back into roller blading and I also love
swimming and taking walks. I just love being out in the
sun I find it helps cheer me up! I also love frisbiee and just
tossing a basketball in the hoop.

I love playing outside with
the frisbee. You can really
burn up some calories chasing
it around. Jumping some rope
is also a great way to keep
active this summer.This is
another way to get the family
invloved.

We cannot forget our animals.
They need to get active in the
summer too. It's great to throw
the frisbee around to them so
they can get moving. Always
keep fresh water nearby. The
heat can really get to you.

Re:How do you keep active in the summer?

You can get dehydrated easily in the
summer heat. It is always best to keep
some type of liquid on hand, water is best.
Some sport drinks are fine as long as they
do not contain lots of sugar. Remember,
your animals need the same care as you do.

Re:How do you keep active in the summer?

Ours pets do need the same care as we do therefore if
you have a cat pull out some string or a lazer pointer and
play with them that way and don't forget to bathe them as
well which helps to cool them off. Sports drinks and water
are the best things to drink for staying hydrated, try to cut
back on the kool-aid and soda as they are more likely to
dehydrate you faster.

Try to keep the animals out the
sun as much as possible. Take
the dog out for a walk when the
sun goes down. A cool evening
walk is good for the entire family.
A nice evening bike ride is fun too.

How do I stay active during the Summer? I run sometimes, but I usually prefer walking my dog around the block. Though it's not really exercising, it helps keep me active anyhow. I also love swimming, I think that's another great way to stay active.
