How to wear clothes that would make you look lean and tall?

Clothing is everything, it changes person as a whole. We have seen that happen in the famous tlc show called "What not to wear". Therefore,
I would like to get some suggestion from fellow petite , what would be the best way to dress so that we can look lean and taller.

First of all being petite is not a curse. Learn to admire your height and just get rid of negativity if any surrounds you about the height.
Because it is through your inner confidence you can look significantly taller. Love yourself and enjoy the way you look. The minute you learn to do so you will see a lot of things opening doorway to success and feeling good in general.

Besides all those consolation here are some tips that we can use to look taller or look confident:

1. Figure out your body type and learn how to dress as per your body type. Say "NO" to baggy clothing as it can make you look shorter. Make the most out of all that you have available to you and do not grim about the things that you do not have. Buy clothes for the occasion. Its always best to buy clothes that fits you, do not wear too tight clothes neither too loose.

2. Do not buy clothes that looks good on mannequin, buy the ones that looks good on you.

3. Right posture is also crucial for looking taller. Right posture also comes through confidence and how you feel about yourself.Incorrect posture can make even people who are relatively tall appear shorter than their actual height. A slouched posture can take an inch or two off your height in appearance.

4. If you are petite and skinny then you might want to put some weight because this will make you look shorter and like a child.

5. Also wear right colors clothing which can help you look taller. Match your pants color with your shoes color , it will make you legs look longer.

Wow I like the term big and baggy and its so true. I love heels but for some reason my body does not like it at all.

Plenty of ladies have that issue. If
you try a shoe with a square
heel,it might work for you.Wearing
a high heel that is skinny will not
work for everyone. People can not
stand or walk for long in those type
of shoes.

Hi iamiable, I am petite myself, I am only 5'2 and
I dread it sometimes when I go shopping and I can't find anything to fit me perfectly! But if you want to look taller and leaner, here's my trick. I usually wear darker color tops such as Black, why? Because a black top usually makes you look leaner and I wear skinny jeans with pumps. The skinny jeans elongate my legs along with the pumps making me look taller. Don't wear flares or long shirts as they will only make you look shorter, try a black top that fits well, not too tight and skinny jeans with a nice heel shoes and that should help make you look taller and leaner!
