Precious the movie

Hey fellow internet shoppers, my husband and I were going to see the movie Precious.... But as I read the reviews, I didn't realize that it was based on a the novel "Push" by Sapphire. I would love to hear some feedback on the book and/or the movie before I see or read either.

I am not sure about the novel, but I watched the movie and I liked it , it depicts the life which I personally never thought would exist. Its a sad movie. We watched the movie Precious at home. We paid a dollar to get the dvd from redbox, so we did not have to worry so much about wasting the money.

Thats a good idea. I head that its hard to take.. with the abuse and neglect. Cant imagine!!

I know its been a while, but I just watched the movie. I really was not impressed. I really was upset with her life, and felt for her. But in general, I thought that it was really drug out. But I did want to thank you for letting my know about renting it through my cable service... I rented it one rainy night and it was nice because since I didn't like the movie, I wasn't upset about the price... haha..

Wow, I am glad to hear the information and review about the movie precious. I want to watch it but really have not had the time to do so.

like I said, it was okay. I just think that it was a little drawn out....
