Should the guys pay on dates or should the girl pay too?

Should guys pay for the food on a date or should the girl help pitch in too? Anyone ever went on a date and had to pay for dinner, lunch, etc.? I had one friend who said she went out with a guy for dinner and after they finished eating, he sat there like he was waiting for her to pay, she said that was the last time she ever hung out with that guy again! Any thoughts or experiences?

Personally, I think a guy should pay on the first date and after that they can both pitch in. Well, this is just my personal suggestion. I know my husband paid for everything and than after our relationship grew, I started paying as well.

It all depends on the person.
I think if a girl asked the guy out,
she should pay.It's nothing wrong
with the female paying sometime.
If it's a nice restaurant and the check
is high,split it.

I see nothing wrong about paying on a date instead of the guy. In a relationship, things should be 50/50 always, no matter what.
