A person should wear what they feel comfortable in.
If you can't afford the current fashion for this year, wear
last years clothes. You should not have to go broke to look
good. Some clothes are not for certain body types. You should
wear what looks nice on you. Be happy with yourself!!

In this writeup I do not intend to write list of items that you must have inside your closet. There are certain basic things that we need to understand before we can make an effort to look good.

The thing that has been clear to me is that item that cost me fortune necessarily did not make me stand out in the crowd. And things that I picked up clearance rack got me lot of praises. As what JCNA mentioned "Some clothes are not for certain body types" you should understand that not every outfit that looks cute in the rack is for you.

This concept has helped me save a bunch and try not to buy things beyond my budget, though I am not going to declare here about my budget.

That is true. If it's not for you
don't buy it,no matter how cheap
it is. Whatever your budget,
there is something out there that
is affordable for you. It might take
a little time to find it,but you will.

I just don't think a person
should try to wear what's popular.
Maybe celebs can keep up with the
trends ,the average working person cannot.
If you look and feel good in something,
wear it. Remember,styles change almost
instantly.

I think anyone can look good in whatever makes them comfortable, but there are so many other ways to save money and yet still look stylish without breaking the bank. Thrift stores carry a lot of nice brand name clothing as well, and you'd be surprise by what you will find sometimes. BTW I just saw this on MSN, looks like stripes are in, but here's an example of do's and don't!

Don't

Do

I agree JCNA, sometimes I will buy a
shirt on sale for a good price but when I wear
it, it just doesn't look right on me, so that was
a waste of my money. I think people
should wear what makes them feel comfortable
compare to something that doesn't.
